Art for AIDS

Finally, I managed to squeeze some time in to do the painting for "Art for AIDS: Fighting AIDS with ART" campaign. Thought of painting some more, I'll see how later. By the way, FYI I'm not doing this to win the prize money (dan tak mungkin pun, LOL). Just sebagai tanda support, by take part in this campaign. :)

Golongan ini sudah letih dipulaukan dan tidak mahu terus dipandang jijik. Dalam kesuntukkan masa (pesakit kritikal), mereka tetap gigih untuk cuba keluar dari 'kepompong gelap' mereka untuk kembali menjalani kehidupan normal bersama-sama dengan masyarakat. Bukankah tangan yang memberi itu lebih baik dari tangan yang menerima? Ayuh cepat - sebelum mereka terus pudar dan hilang buat selama-lamanya.

Kalau hidup atas tajaan FAMA (father & mother), boleh la jugak nak merengek-rengek mintak duit. Tapi kalau hidup atas kaki sendiri, itu sendiri mau ingat, ya. Haih, cepatlah gaji. Saya dah gatal tangan nak bukak sampul duit raya yang pending ni. Kononnya nak bring forward ke Raya Haji tapi macam tak kesampaian jegh ni.. HOHOHOHO! Jumlah duit raya? Tak perlu la kita war-warkan di sini. Tapi haruslah bukan dua tiga hinggit kan. Kalau setakat dua tiga hinggit jegh, tak terliur den nak membukanya. Sadis betul kalau macam tu. Tapi bak kata Ikim, "I'm broke - but I'm happy", yeah!

And Here I Go Again

Pejamkan telinga, tulikan mata. Tengok, aturan sendiri pun sudah tidak betul. Padam semua deria. Entah apa caturan kali ni, samar-samar. Kadang bila sangat yakin yang jalan itu terus tapi tidak, maka tersasar ke bahu jalan. Erm mungkin harus berhenti rehat, hela nafas dalam dalam, baring kejap atas hijau, dongak tengok biru. OK, sekarang fokus. Destinasi masih sayup-sayup kelihatan. OK, tipu. Sebenarnya, langsung tak nampak, berangan saja. Berangan tak perlukan wang kan? OK, fokus fokus. Hurm sekarang bilang, harus dihalakan ke mana? Terus, kiri, kanan atau berpatah balik.. "Back to Black"?

Runsing?
Tahu takpe, tuan punya badan sejuta kali lebih runsing. Omelan dalam kepala yang sebegini yang sangat tak digemari, tahu tak? "Suara kecil" yang sangat sangat sangat annoying. Dulu masa kecil bila diaju "Dah besar nanti nak jadi apa?", dalam masa kurang 2 saat dah terpancul jawapan - "Ustazah, Geologist, bukak saloon, (dan seterusnya, haih banyak betul cita-cita)". Ustazah? Murni betul cita-cita, kononnya. Semua gara-gara Ustaz praktikal yang handsome semasa di Darjah 2, faham-faham saja. Geologist? Apa itu geologist pun tak tahu masa tu, suka hati je.

Sekarang, cuba aju soalan yang sama tapi diubahsuai sikit..

UPDATED: Urghh.. jealous betul daku melihat cartoon strip si Alia. Cecomel semua (jalan cerita pun comel jugak). Dah berjangkit dah, semua benda pun aku nak lukis guna MS Paint. Just now, I saw this picture (the left one) on Facebook and suddenly, rasa gatal tangan nak copy and lukis kat Paint. And walla, I ended up spending my lunch break by sitting in front of the PC painting this "stuff". Silly me, yeah I know. And please note that this picture's only just a random picture. It's got nothing to do with sesiapa yang hidup atau pun yang mati, sekian. ;p

None was able to give me the goosebump feeling like "505" did when I listened to it for the first time. Even until now, lagu tu still berhantu. Tangan sure rasa seram sejuk kalau dengar and gives me the "butterflies in the stomach" kind of feeling, lepas tu layan sambil pejam mata.. ahhh! Anyway, if I have to choose one song out of all, I'll pick "Crying Lightning"..

Before this, tak pernah dengar the whole album. Just tahu lagu "Decode" which agak goosebump juga and membuatkan aku terasa nak main drum sambil menyanyi. Basically, I love the whole tracks and these are the Top 3 - "The Only Exception", "Decode" and "Misguided Ghosts".

It kinda sounds like one of Avril's songs. Ah anyway, lagu ni sangat membuai-buai, banyak kali click button Replay. It starts out with an acoustic guitar melody that made me want to sway from side to side, exspecially when it reaches this part.. auwwww ;')

Currently listening to Garden State OST, thanks Chucky for the CD! So far, I heart Fair by Remy Zero the most. Dan mungkin juga Sondre (I think so) sebab last time sangat jatuh cinta dengan lagu "Let My Love Open The Door". By the way, I'll be updating the reviews from time to time once I've done listening to the albums. In the meantime, mari layan Such Great Height. There are two versions, from Iron & Wine and The Postal Service.. and frankly speaking, I love both versions. :)

Dull, Dry and Boring?

Yesterday morning, me and the rest of my colleagues received an email from our CEO. An email that has cheered me up as I found it kinda funny, agak menggelikan hati. By the way, the email is regarding his suggestion to hold a futsal/badminton session and unexpectedly, looks like everybody is so excited about this thing since everyone was very responsive ding dong ding dong in the emails. My CEO, naturally he loves to tease people sarcastically but in a good way la of course. So, after he read all the replies, he sent out this email to everybody..

I am truly surprised to note that the People of INFOVALLEY are so excited about sports. I owe all of you an apology because I have always been of view that we have a “bunch of people who are so dull, dry (wet for biosciences people!) and boring”. I didn’t realize that there is an “animal” in you that want to tear the battle field to pieces!

Since, I have now realized this, may I propose that we quickly set up a simple Sport Club of INFOVALLEY. INFOVALLEY will immediately contribute RMXXXX to start the activities (I will get Sheela and Rajesh to approve this, hope I didn’t jump the gun!). My personal contribution will be RMXXXX to the fund (and fun). I propose we elect Say Hean as Mr. President of the Club and Aman as the Deputy President. Ms. Suria shall be the Secretary General for the Secretariat. I call for your support and vote.

Dull, dry and boring???? Ha ha ha.. very funny! He's such a teaser, isn't he? But honestly, I love to have him around in the office, hilang sekejap tension kerja kalau dengar dia buat lawak, seriously. And he's very good at motivates people as well, he can simply twist our way of looking at something and brings us into a different perspective. Sangat berkarisma, that's what I like about him.

Ok ok, saya bukan memuji kerana mahu dinaikkan gaji ataupun because of I've been appointed as the Secretary General for the Sport Club (gila la, sounds like Kofi Annan punya jawatan for United Nations dulu, haha). Pujian saya ikhlas, tapi.. kalau dapat 3 months bonus this year pun seronok jugak kan? *cough*

Wah seronoknya ada monthly activity kat office (other than the Exchange session, which being held twice a month *sigh*). Oh I can't wait! Till then, I need to do some warm up which already started err.. last night? LOL! Ini semua salah K-Pop fans di luar sanaaaa OK. (while staring at you guys.. Yes, you Chuck ;p and your bestie, Alia). Sekarang tengah gigih hafal steps dalam video clip Again and Again by 2PM. Semua ni gara-gara Chuck, she posted a video of 2PM's fans doing a flash mob of Again and Again. Well, I'm not good at dancing but still.. boleh la praktik as aktiviti bersenam di malam hari, muahaha! Teringat time study kat UM dulu (OK, I feel old now.. sesi flashback). Menari used to be our daily routine for almost every night as we (me and my ex-roomates) were actively involved in Festival Seni during my 1st and 2nd year. Selalunya 1st semester semua orang akan kurus sebab tetiap malam kena turun hall menari and bila masuk 2nd semester, semua orang kembali membina lemak sebab dah takde aktiviti malam lagi other than keluar makan kat mapley 14th PJ, LOL! Rindu weh all those moment.. sigh. Eh tetiba KLMJ pulak.. haha (kenangan lalu mengusik jiwa..LOL). Lari dari topik sebenar, apakah! Breathtaking

Sorry, lately I keep on flooding my blog with videos but I really can't help it. This is 'one of a kind' video that worth a watch, it is absolutely breathtaking! No kidding, do check this out. Sand artist? Haven't heard about this thing before, truly unique and I very much like the 'rawness' about her style, so delicate and soft. How I wish I could be as good as her. Superb talented.. isn't she? Damn.. I'm nothing near seh.

Al-Fathihah buat ayahanda tersayang Maz, her dad just passed away just now. Sangat sedih. Takziah buat Maz and family.

Aku harap sangat-sangat kau kuat and sabar dengan dugaan Dia yang sangat besar ni, Maz. I am really sorry sebab hilang kata-kata tadi, I'm very sad and shocked to hear the news. Even while I'm writing this down and even masa aku forward SMS kat semua orang, airmata aku tak boleh berhenti menitik. Hurm, apatah lagi kau kan. Sabar ya, Maz? Be strong dear, same goes to your mom and the rest of the family.

Gosh, again I'm speechless.. I lost my word seh.
Just remember, we will always be there for you whenever you need us, whenever you need a shoulder to cry on, nah.. go ahead and cry your heart out. Maaf, aku tak pandai berkata-kata ;'(

Dari jauh jelas kelihatan deretan kereta berdekatan rumah Maz. Dalam rumpunan yang datang menziarahi arwah, aku tercari-cari kelibat Maz. "Oh dia bertudung", bisik aku sendiri. Hampir tak perasan. Aku tepuk belakang dia. Tatkala Maz menoleh dan lantaran yang dilihat itu aku, dia terus peluk dan menangis laju. Aku paling pantang tengok orang menangis, aku jadi hiba sama.. airmata aku jadi 'murah' sama. Aku hilang kata-kata sekali lagi. Apa lagi mampu aku kata selain "Sabar banyak-banyak, Maz". Hurm.. Siapa siap bila dihadapkan dengan dugaan sebesar ini? Sedangkan bukan 'darah' aku yang 'pergi' pun aku sudah teresak macam ni rupa, inikan pula Maz.. ayah kandung dia sendiri. Siapa siap diuji sebegini hebat di kala bulan yang mulia ini..? *sigh*

Walau datang seribu nyawa yang dipanggil kekasih..

Inspired by one of the artworks that I saw on Artpad online. Ofcourse, my painting is totally far way different than the original. Plus, the original one is a digital painting so senang nak control in term of blending the colours and so forth. Anyway, mine at first was very plain bored. Lepas tu rasa tak puas hati sebab tengok macam dull gila, so I took a foundation sponge and then gegolek atas canvas with some shades of green. But still, urghh.. dah rasa macam nak 'bungkus' dah semua tools, haha! But then, DING DING! Suddenly, idea datang - water drips, woohoo that sounds cool to me. Akan tetapi sekali lagi hasilnya tak berapa memberansangkan *sigh*. Aku pun apa lagi, selamba main tiup-tiup. Ya, tiup ya kawan-kawan. Tiup the dripping dengan bersungguh-sungguh, OK. And taraaaaaa.. Oh well, not that impressive I know and I'm not trying to impress anyone pun. :)

So now you guys know how did I get the title of this painting kan? *giggles*

Dance Craze

A few months ago, I've posted this funny & catchy video clips (click here) on Facebook and totally have no idea that the background song in the video and the moves for the dance are so damn famous actually, not only in Korea itself but GLOBALLY ok, fuhh.. boleh tahan! Ni ada potensi nak replace steps tarian Poco-poco ni, buat aerobik pun caghe.. LOL! Sila google Nobody by Wonder Girls @Youtube and you will find lots of homemade videos, uploaded by people from all over the world (or am I just being too dramatic here? huhu).

Jangan tak tahu, kat office ni pun dah gila dengan steps Wonder Girls ni. One of my colleague ni, everytime dia bangun dari kerusi jegh.. sure dia menari steps Nobody by WG ni. LELAKI ya officemate gua tu, haha! I even dare him to make his own homemade video and he said that HE WILL, soon. OMG, gila betul.

Cik Zunaira Zulkifli aka Along kata, "KALAU ROBOT YANG KERAS INI BOLEH, KITA PASTI BOLEH!" and she was referring to this clips, comel gila! Balik rumah ni nak try la.. *giggles*
