Little, Not Much Update

A little update about stuffs that I've been doing recently.
Here we go :)

Work
"So far so good", ayat standard. Yang kelakarnya, my manager told me that my team members think that I'm a "Puteri Lilin", looks too soft they said. And he thinks the same thing as well, that I'm too fragile.. haha, dang! Definitely a motivation booster, not? LOL ;p The good thing is, my TL said I'm a fast learner, picking up things too fast. So, gambate ne!

Chillin!
Went for Skytrex "Big Thrill" last month and I must say this out loud, I SURVIVED SKYTREX CHALLENGE!!!!! I've read somewhere, "It was better to have done it now while we are still able to". So yeah, I have made it (big yeay). At first, aku ingat akan ada scene aku tak berganjak dari platform or got stucked in the middle of the trail or anything like that. Luckily, there is no such thing happen. Yela, sedangkan balkoni apartment 5 tingkat pun aku tak berani nak pijak, ni kan pulak sesi panjat memanjat pokok setinggi 14 meter? Yes, can you imagine?? Memang sangat OH EM GEE seriously noks! I just don't know how the hell on earth I managed to complete the challenge.. huhuhu, this is insane! By the way, sorry tak banyak gambar while we were up there. Gila, kaki and tangan menggigil kot! ;p




Art-ing
Gosh, messing around with "colours", I miss that.. terribly. I know I can't be the only one who doesn't have time for painting. Oh ya, I bought this book few days ago. Hopefully it can gives me some inspiration to start painting again.

Aiseh, nak update pun tatau from where should I start first. OK, lets start from day-to-day update lah then, shall we? Hehe :D

Last Monday till Wednesday
Freaking busy with the handover thingy and I only have 3 freakin days to finish it up before I left. Kesian Dennis, the new System Admin. Sure blur like kaw kaw punya, kena sumbat semua task just in 3 days. He even texted me a day after I left, asking about some documents. Poor Dennis, huhu.

Last Thursday and Friday
Melilau cari the nearest LHDN (Tax) kat Putrajaya on Thursday evening. TAPI sebenarnya LHDN tak wujud pun kat Putrajaya, boleh? Penat je tawaf satu Putrajaya, ngok ngek je. At last, on Friday try cari LHDN kat Jalan Reko but sesat sampai ke Pekan Kajang. Tapi akhirnya jumpa jugak lepas call Abah for the exact direction. Itulah, bajet terer nak redah je kan. Oh ya maaflah, saya tak ada GPS so sebab tu sesat meraban. Tak ada suara yang bagi direction "Keep left, in 200 meters take left. Recalculate.. recalculate..". OK, sebenarnya dialog tu saya belasah je tapi bunyinya lebih kurang macam tu la kan, hohoho.

Weekend
Pergi majlis cukur jambul, pergi Midvalley and the rest? Saya hilang ingatan sudah, dang! Teruk kan? Haish, banyak sangat makan semut goreng agaknya T__T

Officially working at U-Mobile!! Disebabkan takut terperangkap dalam jam, before Subuh dah bangun. And disebabkan takut terperangkap dalam jam jugak lah, pukul 7:55am dah sampai office.. serioussss, hari ini dalam sejarah!! FYI, working hours sebenarnya 9am to 6pm ya kawan-kawan, pfftttt! By the way, since that I'm working with U-Mobile now, should I take off DiGi stickers yang melekat kat kereta I tu? Ngee, sayang la pulak :D

Pejamkan telinga, tulikan mata. Tengok, aturan sendiri pun sudah tidak betul. Padam semua deria. Entah apa caturan kali ni, samar-samar. Kadang bila sangat yakin yang jalan itu terus tapi tidak, maka tersasar ke bahu jalan. Erm mungkin harus berhenti rehat, hela nafas dalam dalam, baring kejap atas hijau, dongak tengok biru. OK, sekarang fokus. Destinasi masih sayup-sayup kelihatan. OK, tipu. Sebenarnya, langsung tak nampak, berangan saja. Berangan tak perlukan wang kan? OK, fokus fokus. Hurm sekarang bilang, harus dihalakan ke mana? Terus, kiri, kanan atau berpatah balik.. "Back to Black"?

Runsing?
Tahu takpe, tuan punya badan sejuta kali lebih runsing. Omelan dalam kepala yang sebegini yang sangat tak digemari, tahu tak? "Suara kecil" yang sangat sangat sangat annoying. Dulu masa kecil bila diaju "Dah besar nanti nak jadi apa?", dalam masa kurang 2 saat dah terpancul jawapan - "Ustazah, Geologist, bukak saloon, (dan seterusnya, haih banyak betul cita-cita)". Ustazah? Murni betul cita-cita, kononnya. Semua gara-gara Ustaz praktikal yang handsome semasa di Darjah 2, faham-faham saja. Geologist? Apa itu geologist pun tak tahu masa tu, suka hati je.

Sekarang, cuba aju soalan yang sama tapi diubahsuai sikit..

Yesterday morning, me and the rest of my colleagues received an email from our CEO. An email that has cheered me up as I found it kinda funny, agak menggelikan hati. By the way, the email is regarding his suggestion to hold a futsal/badminton session and unexpectedly, looks like everybody is so excited about this thing since everyone was very responsive ding dong ding dong in the emails. My CEO, naturally he loves to tease people sarcastically but in a good way la of course. So, after he read all the replies, he sent out this email to everybody..

I am truly surprised to note that the People of INFOVALLEY are so excited about sports. I owe all of you an apology because I have always been of view that we have a “bunch of people who are so dull, dry (wet for biosciences people!) and boring”. I didn’t realize that there is an “animal” in you that want to tear the battle field to pieces!

Since, I have now realized this, may I propose that we quickly set up a simple Sport Club of INFOVALLEY. INFOVALLEY will immediately contribute RMXXXX to start the activities (I will get Sheela and Rajesh to approve this, hope I didn’t jump the gun!). My personal contribution will be RMXXXX to the fund (and fun). I propose we elect Say Hean as Mr. President of the Club and Aman as the Deputy President. Ms. Suria shall be the Secretary General for the Secretariat. I call for your support and vote.

Dull, dry and boring???? Ha ha ha.. very funny! He's such a teaser, isn't he? But honestly, I love to have him around in the office, hilang sekejap tension kerja kalau dengar dia buat lawak, seriously. And he's very good at motivates people as well, he can simply twist our way of looking at something and brings us into a different perspective. Sangat berkarisma, that's what I like about him.

Ok ok, saya bukan memuji kerana mahu dinaikkan gaji ataupun because of I've been appointed as the Secretary General for the Sport Club (gila la, sounds like Kofi Annan punya jawatan for United Nations dulu, haha). Pujian saya ikhlas, tapi.. kalau dapat 3 months bonus this year pun seronok jugak kan? *cough*

Wah seronoknya ada monthly activity kat office (other than the Exchange session, which being held twice a month *sigh*). Oh I can't wait! Till then, I need to do some warm up which already started err.. last night? LOL! Ini semua salah K-Pop fans di luar sanaaaa OK. (while staring at you guys.. Yes, you Chuck ;p and your bestie, Alia). Sekarang tengah gigih hafal steps dalam video clip Again and Again by 2PM. Semua ni gara-gara Chuck, she posted a video of 2PM's fans doing a flash mob of Again and Again. Well, I'm not good at dancing but still.. boleh la praktik as aktiviti bersenam di malam hari, muahaha! Teringat time study kat UM dulu (OK, I feel old now.. sesi flashback). Menari used to be our daily routine for almost every night as we (me and my ex-roomates) were actively involved in Festival Seni during my 1st and 2nd year. Selalunya 1st semester semua orang akan kurus sebab tetiap malam kena turun hall menari and bila masuk 2nd semester, semua orang kembali membina lemak sebab dah takde aktiviti malam lagi other than keluar makan kat mapley 14th PJ, LOL! Rindu weh all those moment.. sigh. Eh tetiba KLMJ pulak.. haha (kenangan lalu mengusik jiwa..LOL). Lari dari topik sebenar, apakah! Net vs Work

NO, this is not another artwork of mine. This is just a system architecture design that I've designed and the one that has been giving me headaches for the past two weeks. Ya, sakit kepala buat benda alah satu ni seh. Plus, networking is not my major and it is totally out of my job scope. I guess my superior is slowly trying to expand my job scope from a Database Admin to a System Admin. Well, it's a good thing but haih, ntah.. I'm not really sure whether am I capable to cope with these networking thingy or not seh. Network? Suerie? Network? Urgh! Back to the main storyline. So when my superior gave me this assignment and after read through and searched on the requirements, urgh rasa macam nak menangis jegh. Susah gila ni Suerie oi. Eh wait, err I did cry once on this recent Monday, dang! TAK SUKA NETWORK! *sigh* Tertekan gua mengadap assignment BERTUAH ni, haih. Nampak macam senang kan? Lukis kekotak, lines. Come come, try test cuba ujikaji buat benda alah ni. Memang menguji minda. I even slept for less than 2 hours a day before the presentation, gegulek atas lantai till 6 AM flipping some case study copies and made changes on the slides. Cuak punya pasal.

And yes, I rarely blog about work related thingy here. The reason is that nobody really bother to read it up, I know that. BUT I'll excuse myself just for today (and maybe for some other day, in case kan) because I just can't help it anymore, nak kena membebel jugak kat sini. And finally (atleast I thought it was the final one), I'm done with the assigment, done with the presentation, done with the Q&A session. Yet, another one coming through. OK, tertekan sekali lagi.

p/s: Abaikan kalau design ni tak ikut standard. Aku lukis guna Paint jegh, malas nak install Visio. Memang gigih gila la kan lukis guna Paint. Abaikan juga kalau tak paham apa aku bebel, just another personal note for myself :)

Clumsy Habis

Pagi tadi bebangun tidur jegh, hari dah terang semacam and I was like "Oh shoot! Pukul berapa ni weh??". Aku dah gelabah gila sampai cari handphone pun tak jumpa, nak check pukul berapa dah time tu. Habis bantal semua aku campak sana sini (hohoho nama pun gelabah kan) tapi tak jumpa jugak.. ah tekanan mental sekejap. Terus aku meluru keluar pegi living hall and tengok-tengok jam dah pukul 8:40 pagi, GILA!!!!!! Memang kelam kabut macam lipas kudung aku pegi mandi and bersiap, baju pun tak sempat nak iron, lantak situ. Then tetiba masa nak pakai jam, aku tengok jam lagi sekali.. waaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!! Apa ni Suerie, pukul 8:40 pagi apa kejadah, pukul 8 pun belum cecah daa, ngok! Menggelabah la kau, Suerie!

Pastu.. aku bukak balik baju and pegi sambung gosok, lalalala!
Santai habis aku menggosok baju, hilang gelabah.. *dush*


Anyway, talking about work/office.. teringat lak semalam. I had a meeting with our VP. Then suddenly before the meeting started, my colleague, Susan asked him something regarding a document that need to be forwarded to the client. Usually diorang communicate in English but then entah mimpi apa, VP aku buat lawak comel pulak semalam, read this through..

Susan: Dr Suresh, did we include ... (bla bla bla) in the document?
the VP: Eh ada kan? Seketika ya
(he pronounced it dengan sangat baku OK)
Suerie: (can't help but burst out in laughter)

He made some funny face while looking at me and said, "Betul lah. Kita kena bercakap Bahasa Melayu standard", then he winked at me. OMG, serious aku dah tak boleh tahan so aku pun bantai gelak lagi sekali, muahaha! He laughed as well and said, "Sampai hati kamu tertawakan Bahasa Melayu saya". I replied back, "Sir, your bahasa sounds so cute la.. haha". Adoi la, sangat comel jegh VP aku sorang ni.. haha!

Situasi:
Baru selesai mengambil wudhu' untuk solat Zohor, and then suddenly one of my colleague entered the 'room'..

Megha: Ahaa.. this is first time I saw you without scarf
Suerie: *tergelak*
Megha: Do you need to wear this when you're at home?
Suerie: No, I don't. I'll wear them only when I go out.

Megha: So, if you're at home, you will only take off the scarf when you're in your room huh?
Suerie: No la, I don't need to wear a scarf when I'm at home as there're only my parent and my siblings around.. as long as everybody that in the house is my muhrim then it's ok for me not to wear any. Err muhrim means, erm OK, I'll just put it this way. Muhrim are those who I can't get married to, like my dad, my brothers, my uncles aka my parent's siblings, my nephews, my grandfather and etc. So, when I'm at home, and if there is any non-muhrim around, then I need to wear. Non-muhrim is the other way round, anyone that I can get married to, such as if from relatives side like my cousins, my uncles that aren't my parent's siblings.. and then, my friends, my neighbours, strangers and so forth. Do you get it?

Megha: Owh ok, I got it. But in India, we can't get married to our cousin, only allow for 3rd degree relation, cousin's cousin but not the first cousin. Like my mom's or dad's brother/sister kids cannot.

Suerie: Owh, really? Very different from here :)

Tetiba dah jadi sesi free lecture hukum hakam di toilet, tak pasal-pasal. Sesungguhnya, aku tak pandai nak bagi explanation kat orang. Atleast, relevan la jugak explanation aku kan.. *wink*

OK, the ORACLE OPeN Day wasn't so bad after all. Gelabah jegh lebih aku ni, huhu. Anyway, semalam sampai-sampai, aku terus pegi registration desk, then cari seat and duduk dendiam dengar presentation from ORACLE, orang tepuk aku tepuk, presenter buat lawak aku gelak and then, at the end of the session balik terus. Err tader la balek terus as Jacklyin from ABS came and approached me before I had a chance to sneak out of the crowd. We chit chat for awhile, discussed something regarding work thingy and blah. Memang tahniah la Cik Suerie *duhh*.

Lepas tu kan kan kan (gedik), semalam lepas event ORACLE tu, aku pegi Sushi King sebab mengidam nak makan Unagi, hehe! *slurpp* Tapi aku makan sesorang jegh, but then ada orang tu cakap "Gila loser u makan sorang-sorang", ah itu semua tak perlu muahahah. Wan Zaleha Radzi pun makan sesorang gak pe semalam kat Sushi King, kira kitorang ni golongan cool ah, gamble jegh makan sendiri.. LOL!

Geek

Err, am confused whether fibre channel disk drives and fibre disk array are the same or not.. Are they? Hurm damn, this aint gonna work for me. H*ll, need to read through again one more time then.. or twice, or... I'll just rendam the notes and minom macam sup ekor so that all the info can melekat until when when and stuck still? Waaa I don't even drink sup ekor.. These server side and hardwares thingy has already begin to give me a headache. Taperlah, atleast banyak benda boleh belajar.. kan? Tu pun if aku manage to pickup, dengan firewall lagi, vpn, database side, vmware lagi and so forth.. gosh banyak la pulak kan. But then kalo tak camne? Oh my, then how.. the pressure starts to spread on either side *fainted*

And yeah, don't be too happy and hyperly excited once you have graduated from uni yer adek-adek (whereby some people just can't wait to get rid off their books and notes.. not me, ofcoz -_-"). FYI, the learning cycle is actually a never ending chapter seh. You'll keep on learning and learning, xspecially in the real 'working world'. Tapi ia bukanlah nitemare, jangan risau.. ini bukan mimpi ngeri, everyone need to go through the same phase, just kena sabar sikit (sabar banyak kot) sebab.... dalam dunia ni tader remote control untuk fast forward the time ;p

The conclusion is, if ada benda baru kena belajar, belajar jegh lah sungguh-sungguh.. tak payah lah gatal-gatal nak exercising your fingers by posting some 'luahan perasaan' entry kat blog macam aku.. sekian!

Sick-O

Pagik tadi giler la jam.. mak aih! Ingat nak skip kat NPE, masok-masok tol NPE perghh.. line up tak hengat! Im doomed oh NO! Hujan-hujan macam neh kalo stuck atas katil kan besh? How nice, heaven!! Tapi realitinya, aku stuck di dalam jam sambil menghela nafas yang tersekat-sekat sebab aku selsema.. biase la morning sindrom ku, snob snob! 2 3 minggu neh asek rase macam nak demam jegh tapi tak demam-demam jugak. Aihh kalo tak bole amek MC, ekekeke. Mebi musim agaknya, kejap hujan kejap panas and aku plak kejap bizik kejap free. Kalo time free, free la sesangat but then kalo bizik.. walaweh, sangat la exhausted ok! For the past 2 weeks, aku asek stay up jegh kejenye nak siapkan keje-keje aku yang menimbun. Eventho project baru jegh kick-off but then we only have 1 month to finish it up, so i need to fasten up a bit.. err alot actually! Stay up till 5:30am then tido kejap, pastu kul 9am bangun balek, celik-celik mata terus turn on lappy continued back doing my work.. M to the A to the D - i am tapi nak bwat camne, i need to.. just for the time being. Time-time camni la rase windu gile time-time study dulu, tayah pening-pening nak pk about year end appraisal, tayah pening-pening nak pk psal baya bills/kete/insurans/roadtax... uhhh! Owh ya, bercakap psal insurans and roadtax.. September nak kne renew, tayar pun dah nak kne ganti, M-A-T-I la I camni.. huahuahua! I need to raise a fund la macam ni, come come.. donate a few bucks to me, each of you! *wink*

It is about time to update my blog I guess. Lots of things happened for the past 3 weeks. The most saddest thing is, my uncle has just passed away on last friday eve. Meninggal dunia di rumah beliau di Taman Ehsan, Kepong disamping Mak Ngah, disebabkan serangan jantung kata doktor. Tapi rezeki Pak Ngah memang murah, meninggal dunia di hari n bulan baik. Hari Jumaat, berharibulankan 1 Rejab. Tahlil genap 7 hari nanti pun jatuh pada malam Jumaat, murah btul rezeki arwah. Semoga roh beliau dicucuri rahmat Ilahi.. Al-Fathihah!

Anyway, aku agak bizik lately (excuse yg slalu terpancul bila bloggers tidak mengupdate blog masing-masing) but its true seh, i've been extremely bz with my works and IT IS NOT ANOTHER LAME EXCUSES ok ;p Dah bersawang dah blog ni bak kate cik Kiah. Ni pun aku tulis time lunch hour and yes, actually I do have a lot of things to write about but the thing is... I DONT KNOW HOW TO PUT IT INTO WORDS, im doomed! Sudah tak mampu nak memproses thoughts of mine yang berlegar-legar into words untuk ditaip oleh jari-jari aku yg ayu meruncing ini.. aih, maaplah aku bukan sengaja nak memujik jari jemari sendiri tapi compliment ini telah dinyatakan oleh cik Alieya and FYI, I am AYU by the way.. woohoo! Marilah.. aku cuba simplify kan aktiviti2 sepanjang 3 weeks ni (eventho I know alot of u dont really give a damn of wht i've been doing in the past 3 weeks, but well... its my blog nway aite? boo-yah ;p )

3rd week of June

I've been out of the office for 2 days, attending Semantic Technology hands-on training at MIMOS. Seems like it will be held continuously until the whole module completed (i've only done 4 out of 16 modules.. hu hu hu :| ). It is something new to learn and im quite excited to explore it more, cant wait (and im serious ok!). By the way, do u know about Web 2.0 technology? If u do, Semantic Web/Technology is the Web 3.0 wanna be, great huh? Fascinating...

On this week juga kami satu ofis held a farewell dinner for Pauline as it was her last week of her internship course.. -_-" miss u Pauline! I windu mulut u yang bising tu.. haha, really seh! And also miss to hear you say "Shut up! Talk to the hand" to Han.. muahaha! U know what, u've missed the free lunch last week.. the new guy from Vietnam just joining ;p we eat kaw kaw last week ler.. huhu! Back to the farewell thingy, after office hours we went to Nandos for dinner then hang up at 11:15 to had some beer and memandangkn aku ade so diorang lepak kat meja lua jegh and ofcoz.. aku just duduk kat ujung meja saja tanpa order apa2, hehe. But aku lepak tak lama, ade carfue maa so then just right after aku chiao.. diorang pn beralih lepak dlm club. Aku pun balek and lantas zZzzzz...

19th plak bufday Firdaus yg ke-23 but gamba lupe plak nak transfer from fon mak. Elok lepas sume orang makan kek, ade plak sesi menimbang berat badan. Oh well, the good news is aku sudah bertambah 1kg.. aggagaga! Tapi where all the fat goes pun aku tataw la, tak gak nampak physically yg aku ni dah gained 5kg so far for the past 4 months.. :| tipu tipu! Skang berat aku is around 46kg, and I need to gain another 4kg.. chayok chayok!!

4rd week of June

Minggu ni minggu berjalan dua-puluh-empat-jam. Jumaat malam, mak ajak pegi downtown kat cheras, teringin katanye. Amboi bukan men mak, huhu.. so kitorg pun pegi la bawak mak pegi downtown around 11:00pm camtu. Sangat la sesak ok, kepanasan aku kat situ. Nway tader ape yg special sangat pun kat situ as aku rase sama jegh mcm pegi danau kota or uptown. Duet aku pun turut di'invest' di situ.. haha! Pusing punya pusing, alih-alih pukul 2:30am baru la sampai umah. Esoknya, Nurul ajak pegi Pavillion la plak. Nak cari sport shoes katanya before balek hostel. So kami 4 beradek pegi la sane but sangat la wasted, we end up tak beli apa-apa selain beli donut JCo yg perlu beratur panjang. Aku rase Pav hanyalah untuk mereka yang berpoket penuh dengan note-note ringgit malaysia and im not one of them for sure.. not yet!

The next day, went out pegi umah Lieya kejap sebab ada hal then sambil tu, alang2 blaja petik gitar skalik.. huhu. Dier suh practise strum "em c g d" sampai pass, tapi sorry ya boo.. I dont hv a guitar seh but u're a great tecer nway ;p siap lelukis jari jemari where to put the fingers.. muahaha, so cute! Rupanya men gitar bukanlah mudah as i've thought. Bak kata Lieya, "tu la boo.. jari jemari lu tu ayu sangat bujur2, next time cut ur nails!". Erk.. huhu I will teacher, dont be mad! Pastu balek jegh umah, sekali lagik Nurul ajak cari sport shoes but this time kat Mid Valley.. and yeah, sounds more reasonable to me. Sampai-sampai jegh, pusing-pusing jap then stop by kat Fish Spa. Aku, Faez and Firdaus lepak kat Fish Spa and Nurul plak pegi cari sport shoes beliyaw.. huhu! Firdaus amek 10 min massage and aku plak registerkn Faez for Fish Spa tapi alih-alih aku plak yang kne replace dia as Faez geli geleman dengan ikan-ikan tu.. haha! Sumpah sangat geli ok.. tapi tahan jegh la, pretend to be cool :|

1st week of July

Sesi membeli dan menempah baju raya bermula.. err hehehe! Suprisingly, puasa pun belom raya pun belom tapi tukang jahit baju mostly dah tak terima tempahan lagi dah. Perghh.. sume dah booking awal-awal takot baju tak siap nampaknya, termasok la mak ai.. huhuhuhu! Seb baek tempat yang kitorg slalu tempah still terima lagik eventho actually depan kdai dier dah tertampal "Tempahan raya sudah tidak diterima lagi!" tapi sebab kami mmg regular customer, dier amek juger. Slalu baju raya aku since dah besa neh tader la banyak mane, sehelai dua jegh but then raya kali neh meriah la plak. Mak belikan 4 pasang and Intan belikan sepasang from Dubai.. mekaseh!! And aku just kne kuakan duet baya upahnye saja.. hohoho! Abes la.. blom raya, dah bankrap.. how?! Duet pelis duet... I want I want, any side job anyone? Owh ya, b*** job I dont want!!!! I can read ur dirty mind ;p boo-yah!!

I guess tu jegh kot aktiviti2 sepanjang 2 3 mggu neh.. kot! Wah panjang lebar lak and I bet ramai yg wont be bother to read from the beginning and sure akan skip2 till the end aite? ;p gotcha!!

Nway to Bali: congrats on ur engangement! Kenduri jangan lupa jemput ya ;p
